This is an illustrative estimate only, based on the national median price published by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing in its National summary of Support at Home prices – November to December 2025 report (published May 2026, data current as at 13 April 2026), compared against Guardian Home Support's own published weekday rates. This compares five commonly used services only (personal care, domestic assistance/cleaning, registered nurse, enrolled nurse and individual social support); other services, including allied health, are not included. See our full price list on the Services page. The national median covers weekday services only and is a national figure, not specific to Perth or Western Australia. Guardian Home Support's weeknight, weekend and public holiday rates are higher than its weekday rates. Quarterly budgets are the Department's Support at Home classification amounts effective from 1 October 2026. The calculation uses 90% of each budget, because 10% is set aside from every budget to fund care management. It does not represent a comparison with any specific provider.
